San Jose Youth Basketball Practice Shirts: Youth Sizes, Numbers Checked

A youth basketball group around San Jose wanted practice shirts, not game-day gloss. A small mark on the chest. Large numbers on the back you can read from the bench. Bella Youth short sleeve. The roster mixed elementary kids with kids who had already grown — the risk was not an ugly print. It was the wrong size range and the wrong number.

The coach entered 28 pieces on the youth chart and checked out once, which is how volume tiers apply. Youth is YXS–YXL. That is not adult XS–3XL. A fifth grader does not belong in an adult XS. Some kids are already past youth XL; that is an adult size for those few, not a reason to call the whole roster "just kids."

We matched numbers to a shared list when the art was approved. Hyphenated last names and two kids claiming the same number are expensive after they hit the press. The file and the count locked about six weeks before the season. Print your own numbers and mark. Do not borrow a league or TV logo you cannot grant us.
